The vast majority of men and women want to live happy lives with as little pain, suffering, and sacrifice as possible.

They want to experience as much good as they possibly can, and as little negative as they can get away with. 

And in order to accomplish this, they’re (unfortunately usually) willing to sacrifice greatness on the altar of mediocrity. 

But this is not the true alpha way. 

As alpha-minded men and women, our goals should exist in loftier places. 

We should set our sights on higher ground than this. 

For the true alpha, leaving behind a lasting legacy of greatness is non-negotiable. 

This is not an easy process. 

However, it is a process that fits right in line with our human evolutionary mandate. 

As a species, we did not get where we are today by accident. 

The reason for why we’ve achieved all that we’ve achieved is because countless generations of humans who came before us committed themselves to greatness (and by greatness, I mean, that they committed themselves to projects, visions, plans, and hopes for the future that were bigger than just their isolated singular lives).

As alphas, we cannot neglect this. 

We must embrace the great responsibility we carry to move our species forward in a meaningful, tangible, decisive fashion.

Why Is It Important To Build A Legacy?

Life either progresses or stagnates.

And when life stagnates, it actually deteriorates.

The forces of entropy are powerful in our universe.

Either we are proliferating, or we are wasting away. 

This is a fundamental rule of life and existence. 

And as alphas, we must apply this rule to our own lives. 

Therefore, coasting along and doing the bare minimum required to have a good life is not acceptable. 

This isn’t enough to progress the species forward, and to leave a positive lasting mark on the universe. 

As humans, we want our lives to be significant. 

We want them to matter. 

And as alphas, we must be focused on moving the needle forward—not just for our own lives, but also for the lives of our families, tribes, communities, and the rest of the collective human species as well. 

This is an evolutionary mandate. 

It is only due to the machinations of natural selection that we’ve been able to accomplish the things we’ve been able to accomplish. 

Humans have a better life now than they’ve ever had. 

And despite the problems we face, we have a better chance of achieving an even greater future now than ever before. 

And the reason for this is because countless generations of humans before us committed themselves to the idea and the hope that if they believed in something greater than their own human happiness and existence, and that if they applied themselves to creating a better world, not just for themselves, but also for others, then the human species could grow, thrive, and continue to progress. 

And guess what? 

It has worked. 

All throughout the human bloodline, there have been figures who have risen above the ranks to achieve significant and long-lasting mandates of success and achievement. 

These were the alphas of previous generations. And as the alphas of our current generation, our responsibility is no less than to carry the torch of humanity forward and upward into the future. 

It is important to build a legacy because this is how we move the species forward in accordance with our evolutionary history and design.

We chase excellence and create value in the world—to leave a lasting mark upon the universe, so that we will not be forgotten—and so that our species, our bloodline, our progeny, and our future will look back on us with fond appreciation, remembrance, and respect for the great things we did. 

This is how we achieve true glory and immortality as humans.

As humans, we do not physically live forever. 

But if we build a great enough legacy, then we do live on. 

Our work will live on in the collective minds of our progeny, and our achievements will live on in the consciousness of the humans who, for countless generations beyond this one, will benefit from our hard work and sacrifice. 

This is a great honor and privilege for alphas who choose to accept the understanding and the opportunity to pursue greatness in life–and to sacrifice mediocrity—burning it and destroying it to use as fuel to light the furnaces and factories of creation and forward momentum—to create lives and legacies of undeniable and everlasting greatness.

Alright. Now that we’ve discussed why it’s non-negotiable for true alphas to want to build a lasting legacy of greatness–let’s talk about the exact steps required to make that happen. 

1. Embrace The Alpha Mentality

This is where it all begins. 

You cannot build a lasting legacy of greatness if you’re stuck in a mindset of mediocrity or passivity. 

You cannot change the world if you never leave your comfort zone or take action.

Thus, why the alpha mentality is the absolute first step.

Choosing to be intentional, to embrace a purpose, and to become the best man or woman in the room is the first and most crucial step in the process.

But in any case, you must get started. 

You must begin the process of building an empire that will eventually begin to earn revenue and generate resources for your tribe. 

A legacy cannot be successfully built without the creation, generation, or acquisition of resources. 

Every great empire requires sustenance and fuel in order for the great machine to grow and operate—so begin this process.

Building an empire, creating greatness in the world, and leaving a lasting legacy of value for the humans who will come after you are all tall orders that will require the resource of a collection of talented individuals—a veritable army and tribe of other humans willing to carry out the necessary work with and alongside you. 

I repeat, no matter how amazing you are, you cannot do this alone. 

• You will likely need to start a family and begin raising your own tribe. 
• You will likely need to hire employees to grow your company. 
• You will likely need to network with other people who believe in the same vision, and cooperate with them.

In order to succeed and move the needle forward, you’ll likely need to strive to reach greater heights so that you can connect and network with people even further along on the path than you.

Sometimes, you may need to volunteer to help them with their mission as a stepping stone to accomplishing your own objectives.

But all of these things will require you to proliferate your influence. 

You must grow in power, status, and leadership ability. 

You must become an exceptional diplomat, dignitary, and representative of your own values and standards—and also of the values and standards that are required to build a successful tribe and thriving community.

Failure to do this will result in a stagnated empire that will only crumble and fall to the decaying power of time and entropy.

To build an empire that will stand the test of time, you must proliferate your influence with great effect, power, charisma, bravery, and gravity. 

6. Start Creating Real, Meaningful Change That’ll Move The Human Species Forward

As alpha humans who wish to create a lasting legacy of greatness in the world, we cannot compromise on our mission to create real value and meaningful change. 

This is a very creative and open-ended endeavor. 

In truth, you can create incredible change in whatever manner you deem most important and best suited to your abilities. 

However, it’s crucial that you strive to hold yourself to this high standard of alpha excellence. 

If your ambition in life is simply to show up to work, earn a paycheck, use that paycheck to buy some food and fun experiences, and live a humble, simple life where you never aspire to anything greater than some occasional life escapism—then you may want to rethink adopting the title of ‘alpha’ for yourself, because this is not the alpha way of life. 

The Alpha leads the pack.

The alpha always puts the mission, the purpose, and the collective success of the hierarchy first.  

The Alpha leads the tribe in aspiring to greatness, and acts as consoler in chief to make the group greater than the sum of its individual parts. 

Make no mistake, there are few of us. 

Not every human is hardwired for or suited to true alpha leadership. And honestly—there’s nothing wrong with not wanting to walk this very difficult path.

Once again—as humans, biologically speaking, we won’t live forever. 

We will live a scant 100 years before we are gone and return to the dirt.

However, we do have the power to achieve immortality beyond our years. 

And you do this by creating something amazing that’ll continue to live on long after you’re gone. 

One of the most obvious ways to keep your legacy alive is to have successful, healthy, vibrant children who grow up and go on to become amazing adults and do amazing things with their own lives. 

All of this legacy travels back to you as they tell stories about you to their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren—and as books, videos, podcasts, and other recordings are created to eternalize your contribution to them—and thus, to the world. 

But this can also be accomplished by creating some kind of idea, creating something exceptional, or coming up with a new invention. 

• Maybe you’ll write a book that’ll inspire others in the future. 
• Maybe you’ll invent a machine that’ll help move humanity forward. 
• Maybe you’ll invent a new technology for growing crops, or a new ideology that helps humans to better live their own lives and experiences. 
• Maybe you’ll create a business that’ll continue to live and thrive long after you’re gone.

Regardless of what form your legacy takes, it’s just crucial that you set your mind to the task of creating something that will truly outlive you. 

This is how we achieve greatness and immortality as alphas—and there’s truly no greater mandate than to create something so valuable and so worthwhile that it continues to push humanity forward even long after you have died and passed on.

It is my belief that the true alphas of the world will strive to leave a legacy that’s shaped not by violence, horror, suffering, and pain—but by goodness, innovation, empathy, wise leadership, wellbeing, and creativity.
