“Learn A Lesson Every Day, From Every Experience.”

Joshua K. Sigafus (Yep – I just quoted myself)

I learned a long time ago that if you don’t learn a lesson from your experiences, you’re missing out on a huge part of your life education.

Here’s the thing.

Life can be a bit of a b*tch sometimes.

You know it, and I know it.

But if there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years, it is that life is much easier when you learn a lesson from every experience it throws at you.

Over The Past Week, I’ve Had A Lot Of Weird Experiences

I’m no stranger to weird stuff happening in my life.

But I’m also beginning to realize exactly how valuable it is to have weird stuff happen to you.

Why?

Because it gives you an opportunity for growth.

Life is full of lessons

But when something bad happens, we really need to stop and ask ourselves:

Is there a lesson to be learned in this?

Is there something important that I can take from this experience, so that I can make my life better tomorrow?

This is a really important thing to ask yourself. And the more I leverage my life experience to help me learn, the better life gets.

I’m Going To Keep This Blog Post Short

This isn’t what you would call an ‘optimized’ post. I’ve been working on some pretty big stuff this week, and honestly I’ve had to take a few days off of blogging to work on some other website stuff.

But I wanted to put some of these thoughts down and record them, because they are just so important

So yeah. This is my short, crappy blog post about learning lessons!

Here’s what you need to understand.

When bad, unexpected, or difficult things happen—the first instinct is usually to complain about it, or at least to hate the fact that it’s happening.

It just sucks.

And the worse the problem is, the more it sucks—and the more you probably wish it wouldn’t have happened in the first place.

Fair enough! I’m right there with you.

But if you can back-engineer that failure and turn it into a valuable life lesson, you can do a lot to keep that problem from happening again.

If you run every experience in life through this filter, and you do it intentionally—you learn a lot.

This works in your dating life. But it also works in every other area of life as well.

Not only does it help to give you peace about the sh*t that isn’t going right, but it helps you to glean wisdom from all of your experiences—the good, the bad, and the ugly.

I’ve Been Learning A Lot Over The Past Week

And every day, I’m adding new knowledge to my mental database. And the older I get, the better I get at living a successful life.

The longer I live in this world, and the more experiences I have, the less I tend to f*ck things up.

Why? It’s pretty simple.

Because I learn from my godd*mned mistakes.

That’s what we have to do, ladies and gentlemen. That’s what we have to do.

We can’t just coast through life acting dumb and screwing our lives up.

We need to wisen up, learn from our mistakes, and level up.

That’s the alpha mentality.

Alright, enough with this sh*tty article. You’ve heard everything you need to hear.

Pay attention and learn from your bad experiences so that you can keep your life on-track and avoid pitfalls!

That’s the short of it.

Go with grace, my friends… and never give up your power!

Until next time…
