The way to success.
Today, I was listening to one of my favorite thought mentors, Arnold Schwarzenegger.
And I heard a quote that really stuck out to me.
I love Arnold’s thought process here.
In fact, you can watch his speech that broke the internet right here. It is AMAZING!
You see, he is right.
The way to success requires many things. But above all else, it requires us to use our time effectively.
Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about where I want to be in the future.
I’ve been visualizing what I want for myself.
To me, that part is easy.
And if you have that part down, awesome.
But let me ask you a very important question that has really challenged me this week.
Does your future successful self trust the YOU of today to succeed and get there?
And perhaps even more importantly…
Is the present ‘you’ capable of creating that successful version of ‘you’ in the future?
What Is The Way To Success?
Let’s dispense with the pleasantries and the bullshit for a minute.
As you know, I’m a dating coach. And my number-one goal is to help people to level up their attraction.
But here is what you need to understand. If you can’t learn to effectively manage your time and go to war every day for yourself and your future, you are going to suffer—and you’re NEVER going to reach your full potential!
We live in a world that is brutal, violent, dark, and dangerous.
If something else doesn’t grab you first, entropy will eventually decay your body and return you to the earth.
But, it isn’t hopeless.
We are born with an extraordinary gift when we come into this world.
We have a life to live, and a chance to make our lives awesome and successful!
The entire purpose of this post today is to help you understand one vital concept.
If we want to succeed in life, we must go to war every day—and do battle for our future.
This is not, however, necessarily a war of flesh and blood.
It is a war against procrastination. It is a war against distraction. It is a war against depression. It is a war of motivation, inspiration, and work ethic.
Here’s another big question.
Are you willing to grind hard to pursue the future you want for yourself? Are you willing to put in hour after hour, day after day, year after year, to succeed and make your vision come true?
If you can answer ‘yes’ to this question, then you may just have what it takes to level-up and become the highest-value version of yourself possible!
What Are The 5 Steps To Success?
I’m not going to bullshit you. Success is hard.
Every day, I fight against the chaos of my world to move closer to my goals.
I want my vision of the future to become real. I want to become the successful version of myself that I dream about and hope for.
And I refuse to give up. I would rather die trying. That’s how much I believe in my own success.
I haven’t arrived yet. I’m still on the journey. But being in the trenches, I’ve learned a lot.
If I were going to rewind time and give my 15-year-old self the 5 steps to success, here is what they would look like.
1. Find Out What You Love
What is your life purpose?
What are you passionate about?
Learning the answers to these questions is so important.
What do you think about, read about, and watch videos about in your free time?
What are your favorite conversations about?
What is your favorite thing to learn about?
Identify the answers to these questions, and you will probably start to hone-in on your true passion.
Figure out what it is. It’s important.
2. Visualize What You Want Your Future To Look Like?
What do you want to look like in the future?
What do you want to be known for?
What do you want to accomplish?
How do you want to help the world?
What kind of legacy do you wish to leave behind?
What do you want your day-to-day life to look like?
And for me, this is an especially important question—what do I want my life, relationships, and legacy to look like from my deathbed, as I get ready to pass on and leave it all behind?
You need to visualize these things.
Your vision may change over time. That is fine! There is nothing wrong with that.
In fact, adaptation is a key component to success!
But you need to start working on this vision. Answer these questions for yourself, and then continue to refer back to them as you learn and grow.
Make adjustments. But use your vision as a road map to guide you forward toward the future.
3. Get Started
It is fine to start small.
In fact, your first step doesn’t even need to be good!
So many people get so hung up on the first step.
They think too far ahead.
Your first step is almost completely a learning opportunity.
It isn’t going to make you successful. But it leads to the second step, which leads to the third step, which leads to the fourth step, etc.
Then, suddenly, one day, you create the first piece of success.
But guess what? Had you never taken that first step, you never would have arrived at this important place!
So take the first step. Do it completely terribly. Stop overthinking it. Fall flat on your face and be happy about it!
Start that blog. Publish that video. Do that Twitch stream. Make that painting. Bake that pie for your friends. Pitch that freelancing gig.
Do it. Start today, and keep working to improve as you go.
4. Get Better As You Go
My blog posts, videos, and podcasts did not start out perfectly.
The audio was terrible. I didn’t know how to say what I wanted to say. I didn’t know how to make videos look good.
And to a point, I still don’t!
But—every day, I am getting a little bit better.
I work every single day to make my platform better than it was yesterday.
If you level up by even 1% each and every day, that is HUGE progress!
People always think it needs to be perfect right away. But this is a needless fear that holds us back.
If you want to arrive at the top of the mountain, you need to take that first step. And the sooner you take it, the sooner you arrive at your destination.
So get started, and improve as you go.
5. Don’t Give Up
I could easily give up.
Every single day, there is a temptation to just stop what I am doing and get a ‘regular’ job.
But at this point, I also know better. I want the future that I have visualized for myself.
And I know beyond the shadow of a doubt that I will not stop fighting for it.
I will not stop working toward it.
I realize that my life will become exactly what I make it.
I understand that I have complete power to create my own destiny in life.
And so, I refuse to settle for a ‘typical 9 to 5.’ I refuse to spend the energy of my life just doing things to get money so that I can pay my bills.
I want more than that. I believe that I am capable of more than that.
And guess what?
So are you!
This is why I don’t give up. And every day that I work, I continue to get closer to my goal.
Is every day perfect? Definitely not.
Do I face trials and setbacks?
Do I get hit with big losses sometimes?
I absolutely do.
But I also get to celebrate big victories.
And I get to wake up every day knowing that I have created every victory through my own actions.
I do not need to rely on anyone else to give me a ‘free shot’ to achieve success. I create my own opportunities by working hard.
And that’s what it takes. We must create opportunities for ourselves, every single day!
In Conclusion – The Way To Success Is Not Easy. But It Is Our Alpha Mandate To Follow It
This is what I want for my readers.
I want them to start walking the way of success—not just for their own life and happiness, but so that they can level up as alpha humans, maximize their potential, and win in the dating marketplace!
When we take responsibility for ourselves, pick up our burden, and walk forward—we make ourselves so much more desirable.
This is true for men and women.
Go with grace, my friends. And never give up your power.
Until next time:
