What is an alpha female?
In this post, I am going to not only answer this question, but also discuss why it matters.
The term ‘alpha male’ is a pretty popular term. And you can find my post on the alpha male mentality here.
But regardless of what most people think, I actually don’t believe that men are the only ones who can benefit from the alpha mentality.
I think that women can embark upon the alpha journey as well – and I also wish that more of them would!
Why? Because the alpha journey, regardless of whether you are a man or a woman, is a journey that is going to make your life better, give you more control over your destiny, and move you more in-line with where you want to be in the future.
It’s all about living intentionally!
Here is what an alpha female is, and why it matters.
Can A Female Truly Be An Alpha?
Absolutely. Not only can women be alphas, but I wish that more women chose to walk this path!
I have done a lot of writing on this site about the alpha male mentality. But the further I walk down this road, the more I realize that it is a human path, not just a path for men.
And so, all of the benefits that the alpha journey gives to men can also be obtained by women.
But… you must walk the path if you want to be a true alpha. That’s the hard part!
What Are The Alpha Female Personality Traits?
So, what exactly makes an alpha female an alpha female?
What types of personality traits will this type of woman display and exhibit?
If you want to be an alpha female, what types of behaviors should you be manifesting?

Ladies, I’m going to be real with you right now.
This list is the same for you!
In fact, if you go through that post, and insert ‘female’ every time the word ‘male’ is mentioned, it is almost 100% on-point with the idea of alpha female personality traits.
But… I am also going to share the traits here, so that you can read them and meditate on them without needing to go to another page.

These cover a lot of ground, and some of them could use some explanation. So refer back to my alpha male personality post to read a bit more into them, to find out exactly what I mean by them.
Here’s The Alpha Female Key…
As an alpha female, you need to take control of your destiny back from the chaos around you.
How do you do this?
By choosing to live intentionally. You happen to life instead of allowing life to happen to you. You take stock of your resources, you make a plan, and you start to put your life together… brick by brick… to build a lasting legacy of excellence for you, yourself, and your tribe.
You mind your business, get your own money, and pursue your own purpose… all while taking responsibility for yourself.
In addition to the 33 personality traits listed above, I would also encourage you to read over my Oath of Kings Alpha male code… which I am actually going to be renaming as The Oath Of Kings And Queens… the true alpha code!
This applies to all areas of life… dating or otherwise. It is very rare for men or women to choose to live life this way. It is difficult to take ownership over our lives.
We must learn to stop making excuses. We need to learn to accept that nearly everything bad that happens to us is a result of a decision we have made… and that if we want our lives to be better, we need to make intentional choices that will lead us into a better future.
We create our own success. Nothing is guaranteed to us in life. Nothing is free. We are owed nothing, and unless we create something for ourselves, we will never move forward.
How Can You Tell An Alpha Female?
The number-one hallmark of an alpha female is an attitude of self-responsibility.
She takes action to make her life better. She strategizes to utilize all of her resources wisely. She is focused on getting money, working on building a better future for herself, and certainly isn’t afraid to work hard.
She is also focused on tribe-building, and understands her role as a leadership figure in the world.
She will be focused on self-improvement, and will constantly be leveling up in all areas of life.
But perhaps more than anything, she will realize that she must validate herself. Therefore, she does not look to friends, family, or even a partner for validation.
She cultivates a high degree of confidence and self esteem, and she pursues greatness every single day.
When she loses, she picks herself up off the ground, learns from her mistakes, and continues onward.
When she wins, she celebrates her victory, and then strikes out to accomplish a new goal.
What Does It Mean To Be A Beta Female?
The biggest difference between an alpha female and a beta female is as follows…
An alpha female validates herself, takes direct control of her resources, and creates her own destiny. This type of woman HAPPENS TO LIFE, instead of waiting for life to HAPPEN FOR HER.
A beta female, by contrast, looks to others for outside validation, hopes to be taken care of by other people or the ‘system,’ and hopes that good things will just ‘happen’ to her. This type of woman WAITS FOR LIFE TO HAPPEN FOR HER, instead of GOING OUT, TAKING ACTION, AND HAPPENING TO LIFE.
There is a lot more that we could say about this. But for all basic intents and purposes, these are the major differences between alpha females and beta females.
It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that being an alpha takes hard work, commitment, and self-ownership. It is much easier to be a beta.
But… betas are always at the mercy of others. They do not have any direct control over their destiny, because they are always giving their power away to other people.
And so, alpha females work hard to create the destiny they want… while beta females helplessly hope that other people or systems will save them from the chaos of their immediate problems and trials.
Being An Alpha Female Is Not For Everyone
I have talked at great length about how being an alpha male is not for everyone.
And the same is true for women.
Not every woman is well-equipped to be an alpha leader. Not every woman is well-equipped to take up the mantle of tribe-building, wealth-building, and self responsibility.
Some humans are better suited to this than others.
Also, some women just don’t want to bother with the responsibilities and hard-work required to become a true, powerful alpha female.
And that is ok. It takes all kinds of humans to make a tribe. There are all kinds of different roles to fill. And if you don’t want to be an alpha, that is perfectly fine.
But… I also sincerely believe this…
If you want to create a better life for yourself, and are tired of always relying on other people for your happiness, confidence, or well-being… then it is possible that you are actually already beginning to walk the alpha-female journey.
This is what separates alphas from everyone else.
Alphas take direct control over their lives. They take action to create the destiny they want… while others just trust and hope that something good will come to them.
I have been on the alpha path for over 3 years now. And every day, I learn more about how this is the true path for humans who want a better, happier, more fulfilling life.
